Do you guarantee delivery on all your cigar orders?
"How do I know that I am going to receive my cigars?"
  • Buying anything on the internet requires trust but when it comes to buying Havana Cuban cigars in a foreign country you need a hefty dose of it. That's why most of our customers start off with a small test order

"How long will it take for my cigars to arrive?"
  • We ask for 7-14 business days from the time of shipping (not including weekends or bank holidays) for your cigars to arrive with you. We usually ship either on the same day we receive our order or the day after. If there is going to be a delay in shipping your order because we are out of stock for example we will contact you and give you the option to cancel.

"What if my cigars do not arrive?"

  • If your cigars do not arrive within the expected delivery dates you should contact us and let us know. You then move onto the refund program - details of which can be found by clicking here. All we ask for is a little patience whilst we establish what happened to your order.

"Why buy Cuban cigars from Spain?"

  • When you buy Cuban cigars from Spain you are effectively buying from the spiritual home of the Cuban cigar - which might seem strange given that Cuba is on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean but look at it this way:-

  • Cigars as we know them today were first produced in Spain using Cuban tobacco - this even pre-dates Cuban cigar production. Click here for more detail.

  • Habanos S.A. is the sole company in Cuba responsible for the export of Cuban cigars around the world. Habanos S.A. is Spanish owned as is Altadis, Altadis USA and Tabacalera - all companies that have played and continue to play a grand part in the history of Cuban cigars. For more detail click here

  • Spain is and always has been the worlds largest importer of Cuban cigars. Even today Spain takes over 50% of Cubas cigar output.

  • Over 70% of the famous Cuban brands were created by Spaniards who emigrated to Cuba in the 19th century - amongst those brands are Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, Hoyo de Monterrey, Flor de T. Partagas, Jose L. Piedra, Fonseca and Ramon Allones - the latter a local boy from Galicia.

  • Unlike most countries that have only specialist outlets for Cuban cigars, Spain has a vast network of authorised "estancos" or government-controlled tobacco shops. Even the smallest of these "estancos" in the most remote village of the Pyrenees will have Habanos Cuban cigars for sale.

  • The Spanish government have the longest history of any government in the world of how to deal with the problems of fake cigars. What to some countries is a recent phenomenon to Spain is ancient history. The first seal ever put on a Cuban cigar box was in 1889 by the King of Spain. Anti-counterfeiting measures in place today include an inspection system by Altadis, the official distributors and co-owners of Habanos S.A., who open almost every box of Cuban cigars imported into Spain in order to prevent fake cigars entering the marketplace. After the cigars are deemed genuine the round blue seal of Altadis is added to the box. For more details click here
